Dick LeMasters is back in Texas following his second European tour, during which he performed with fellow Americana singer-songwriter Douglas Greer. LeMasters and Greer performed extensively in Holland during both 2015 and 2016.
The newest Dick LeMasters album is titled “Gasoline & Fire”. On this 12-song effort, LeMasters offers original, heartfelt songs, featuring acoustic guitar and vocals. Gasoline & Fire is available digitally on outlets such as iTunes, Napster, etc., and is available on CD through CD Baby and MyTexasMusic.com.
LeMasters’ 2014 album “One Bird, Two Stones” received excellent reviews and substantial airplay around the world. A couple of excerpts:
“One Bird, Two Stones is a solid album that would snuggle nicely beside the likes of Ray Wylie Hubbard with a raw-boned electric edge to many of the songs ....”
Paul Kerr, Blabber’n’Smoke, Scotland
“There isn't any weak moment in this album. LeMasters belongs to the kind of demanding songwriters who only include a track in an album if they are totally satisfied with it.”
Sam Pierre, Le Cri du Coyote, France
Dick LeMasters performs regularly across Texas at venues such as Saxon Pub in Austin and Poodie’s Roadhouse in Spicewood. He has opened shows for Charlie Daniels, Chuck Berry, Randy Rogers, Paul Thorn, Shinyribs, and many other national and regional acts.
A 2017 tour to include France, Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands is currently in the works. LeMasters performs solo, as part of a duo with Douglas Greer, with Douglas Greer as a member of the band Get Right Ramblers, and as leader of the band Longneck Road.
